Alex and Zach's Wedding & Reception
The Beaux Arts Pavilion in the front lawn of the house served as the setting for Zachariah and Alexandra's November 8th wedding in the presence of 100 family and friends. Zach and Alexandra have a special attachment to New Orleans where they met, lived, and worked until Hurricane Katrina forced their eventual move to San Francisco --now their permanent residence. The couple did a good deal of long distance preparation as well as using Phylanne Keller, one of our recommended coordinators, for in town and wedding day details. Alexandra's father officiated at the ceremony with Alex's sister and Zach's two brothers standing as witnesses. Flowers were provided by Harkins Florist, another one of our recommended vendors and photographed by R Squared Photography. The reception followed immediately in the back yard which sparkled with light from over 200 votive candles, Japanese lanterns and clear lights strung along the entirety of the upper and lower banisters, deck and stairways. Martinique Bistro provided an expansive banquet style service. The highlight of the evening was dancing to the music of the well-known and beloved, Treme Brass Band.
