Nicole Melton and Sasha Rusinowicz, Wedding Ceremony & Reception, Saturday, March 6, 2010
Nicole and Sasha met in New Orleans while working in our Hurricane Katrina recovery efforts. The chose New Orleans and BH&G for their destination wedding. They were married on Saturday, March 6, 2010, a cool, dry early Spring day. The ceremony took place at about 5:00 PM, at our main entrance, with music on the gallery provided by the Big Easy Jazz Band. Rev. Charles Cross officiated. About 100 guests attended. The reception followed on our rear patio, including the new patio extension. Family members did the decorating. Michaels Catering provided the food and beverages. Reception music came from JAM Productions. Photography by Rite Frelich; cake from Royal Cakery; floral from Melissa Drummond, small shuttle buses from Grace Transportation; and additional chairs, to supplement chairs and tables provided by BH&G, from Event Rental.

Luana Marrier and William Holecek, Wedding Ceremony, February 27, 2010
BH&G was delighted to be chosen for the destination wedding ceremony of Luana Marrier and William Holecek, which was performed in the pavilion in our front garden on Saturday, February 27, 2010, at twilight. The event was planned and coordinated by Eve Deikel Wendel and her creative staff: Sarah Hudson and Stephanie Lutz, all from Minneapolis. Michaels catering provided hors d'oeuvres, Champagne and other refreshments. Rev. Charles Cross acted as celebrant. Special treats were the guitar solo of Scott, who came courtesy of A Touch of Rose, and who played during the ceremony; and Amanda Shaw, who brought her fiddle, played on down the front walkway and serenaded Luana and Bill with two melodies. The flowers came from Fat Cat; and the cake from Zoe's Bakery. After the ceremony all adjourned to Emeril's Delmonico for dinner. Thanks to Eve, Sarah and Stephanie for a job well done. Jessica Pettey and Richard "Tyler" Rack, Wedding Ceremony and Brunch, Saturday, January 23, 2010
The U. S. Navy landed at BH&G this past Saturday, as Jessica Pettey married Tyler Rack in a garden ceremony sited in our gazebo. The planning was impromptu and coincided with Tyler new deployment over seas to begin in February. The ceremony was followed by a brunch on the patio. About 30 family and close friends attended. Michael's catering provided the fare.
