The Wedding of Jessica and Erin
Jessica and Erin were married in the parlors at BH&G on Saturday, November 29, 2008. About thirty guests attended. Jessica's father, Rocky, was the celebrant. The bride and groom live in Virginia, where she practices law in the public sector and he works as a financial adviser. Jessica's family moved to New Orleans while she was in college. She followed them, to attend Tulane Law School, and stayed almost ten years. Her parents and siblings still reside here.
Cake and champagne followed the ceremony. Jessica planned the affair from her home, and used the services of Phylanne Keller, one of our recommended planners, to coordinate. Music by New Orleans' Finest Musicians (Harry Hardin), cake by O'Delice, wedding cookies by JCB Creations, and champagne by The Wine Seller (Ben Lazich). Greg Miles was the photographer. Congratulations and "thank you" to Jessica and Erin!

We had a beautiful wedding at the Benachi House. My mother said it was the nicest wedding she'd ever attended, in large part because of how intimate and lovely the setting is at the Benachi House. Jim Derbes and Phylanne Keller were extraordinarily accomodating, available and helpful -- making it easy and a joy to be married there. Many thanks to Jim and Phylanne and to all who made our wedding day all I had hoped it would be.
