A surprise Bridal Shower for Alesandra Stierwald was held at BH&G on Sunday afternoon, April 6, 2009. Alesandra is engaged to marry Jerry Nugent on June 13, 2009. Preparations and arrangements were made by Katie Flick, the bride's close friend, who will also serve as Maid of Honor in the ceremony. Alesandra was lured into the house on her Mother's "promise"that afternoon tea would be served there.

About fifty guests attended.

Food and beverages were served from the dining room. Rented chairs were set up on the rear patio so that all who attended could watch in comfort as Alesandra opened her gifts on the rear gallery.

Katie did all of the planning and made all of the arrangements. Erik's Catering http://www.erikcatering.com/ provided the food.

Perrier Party Rental furnished the chairs, that were set up on the patio for the gift opening ceremony.

Corsages for the Mothers were provided by Harkins http://www.harkinsneworleans.com/startpage.htm

Because it was a Jazz Fest weekend there was concern about the availability of on-street parking. Twenty-five parking spaces in the parking lot on the corner of N. Rocheblave and Bayou Road were rented from Degas House http://www.degashouse.com/index.html
