Catherine and Harry were married on the front gallery of BH&G at 3:30 PM. Reverend Marilyn Davis officiated. The bride is originally from New Orleans, where her parents, Mr. Tran Gia Thai and Mrs. Ta Kim Loan still reside; and the groom from Maryland. Harry's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George W. Fellows, now live in Florida. The bride and groom both work in the fashion industry in New York, where she directs a modeling and talent agency and he is a fashion photographer. The couple planned the event themselves, opting for an outdoor ceremony for about 80 guests, with drinks and hors d'oeuvres catered by Partysist. For the reception they chose a traditional Vietnamese wedding dinner at the Panda King Restaurant, in Gretna, LA. The trio Dr. Jazz and the New Orleans Dixieland Sounds performed in the BH&G parlors and its trumpeter led a New Orleans "second line" parade of the guests after the ceremony. Melissa Amato provided professional event coordination for the rehearsal, ceremony and reception. Lynn Noble coordinated for BH&G. The event was planned to occur primarily in the garden, but was moved to the house after rain showers earlier in the day. Congratulations to Catherine and Harry!
