Rebecca Lopresto and Corey Soule were married in the parlors at BH&G on Saturday afternoon, March 14, 2009. Eighty family and friends attended, and enjoyed the reception that followed on our lawn and patio. Reverend Anita Dinwiddie, the Pastor of St. Marks Methodist Church, performed the ceremony. The exchange of vows was originally planned for the gardens, but was relocated to the parlors, which provided a visually splendid backdrop, when rain persisted throughout the day. For the reception, a 20' X 50' grouping of tents was installed on the lawn to the rear of the patio; and when rain became a virtual certainty, another series of three was added to connect the the first group to the house. The Tent Man provided the tents and the very effective last-minute service, in addition to all tables and chairs. Jenny La Bella and La Bella's Catering provided the excellent food and the servers. Celeste Marshall of Celeste Marshall Photography documented the event for Rebecca and Corey. Allison Herrera and Benny Guidry, friends of the bride's family from Lafayette, created extensive arrays of greenery and flowers throughout the property.
