With cool temperatures and under sunny skies, Melissa Hoeppner and Bradley White were married in our Beaux Arts pavilion in the front garden of BH&G at about 5:30 PM on Saturday, March 28. Reverend David Coleman performed the ceremony. Zonica Dimova of Musiconsultants http://www.musiconsultant.com/ provided the ceremony music. The bridal party and their guests adjourned to the rear garden where a reception, with traditional New Orleans food catered by Jenny La Bella of La Bella's Catering www.labellascatering.com/ continued until 10:00 PM. The Crescent School of Gaming and Bartending crescentschools.com/ provided servers for the beverages that were furnished by the hosts. Tables, chairs and utensils came from Event Rental www.youreventdelivered.com/

The couple met when they attended LSU and remain huge LSU fans. For the occasion, the Swiss Confectionery created not only a traditional wedding cake, but a chocolate groom's cake in the shape of a fleur de lis on which was superimposed the unmistakable eye and look of an LSU tiger.

Big Easy Flowers of New Orleans www.bigeasyflowers.com/ created the bride's bouquet, the flowers for the bridal party and arrangemewnts for the house, the pavilion and the dining tables.

During the early hours of the reception, music was provided by DJ Patrick Ricter. Then Swingaroux swingaroux.com/ a New Orleans big band moved in to finish off the evening and play the marrieds out to the horse-drawn carriage that awaited on Bayou Road.

Lauren Moffett, Sarah Howard and Kate Jordan, friends of the bride from Houston, provided wedding planning and day-of-the-event co-ordination.

Melissa and Bradley live in Houston, where she works for a law firm as an Assistant, and he manages a car rental location. Bradley was raised in New Orleans, where his parents still reside.
